Pattiyal Sekar is experiencing chill days in tinsel town for he has both of his sons involved in action. Director Vishnuvardhan being his elder son has gained good credits with all his films being done with different approach and now comes his another son named Krishna. Krishna isn’t something new to tinsel town for he has already acted in many films as both child artists as well character roles. His debut in filmdom was with the film Anjali directed by Mani Rathnam where himself and his brothers perform the young guys in the colony. Later, he was again roped into Mani Rathnam’s film Iruvar and then in leading role for Santhosh Sivan’s directorial ‘The Terrorist’. Then, all of sudden he was asked by his family members to continue his higher studies and as a result he took up MBA studies in United States. But his passion and desire for acting in films were inevitable.

Completing his higher studies, he had the intention of gearing up with films and sooner got the green signal granted from his family members. Now, he plays the lead role in this film with the character name of Vetrivel. Debutant Janani, a Punjabi girl from Mumbai and she plays the role of Janani, young girl working in Bank. For the first time, audiences will happen to see Prakash Raj in a completely different character.

Director Neelan K Shekar speaking about the film says that if there is gonna be couple of jokers in card games, then its fortunate for all the players. But imagine a situation where all the cards are jokers. Does this sound different and quite complicated? Yup! So will be the story of Alibaba.

The film deals with the very aspects of everyday’s problems in human’s life and don’t take it for granted that it is going to be social awareness oriented film. This will be an action-packed thriller with lots of twists and turns added with more commercial elements like comedy, action and romance.

Pattiyal Sekar and Sanjeev Kapoor under the banner of Talking Time Movies Pvt. Ltd are producing this film. Neelan K Sekar is handling Story, Screenplay, dialogues and direction. Vidhyasagar scores music for the lyrics penned by Pa.Vijay, Jayantha and Yuga Bharathy. V.T. Vijayan has cut and pasted the shots canned by Dinesh Kumar. Thyagarajan has choreographed stunts and Kalyan for dance.
